 bouton onglet1 Who ar we?

The auctioneers at SELARL KAPANDJI-MORHANGE and GILLET-SEURAT-MORETTON joined forces in 2018 to create the K2M group.

Making the most of their extensive experience acquired with numerous Commercial Courts in the Paris area, for which they carry out valuations and public auctions of tangible and intangible assets, Nicolas Moretton, Ghislaine Kapandji and Élie Morhange were keen to pool their skills and resources to boost their efficiency when processing requests.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Before the auction

You should consult the lots on sale as shown in the sales catalogue, where you’ll find a description, one or several photos and an estimated sales price.
The public viewing dates are shown in the general information section for each auction.

During the auction

The system used for the public auction of movable items is an ascending bidding system based on a reserve price decided by the auctioneer.
This reserve price takes into account the estimated value of the item.
Bids may be placed in several different ways:
The usual method for participating in the auction is to be present in the auction room.
However, if you can’t be there in person, numerous possibilities are available:
– leave a fixed price purchase order with the office (include a link to PO): in this case the auctioneer will bid on your behalf up to the amount you have specified.
– bid by telephone: to do so, you’ll need to complete a purchase order, stating that you wish to be called, along with the numbers of the lots of interest to you
– you can also submit purchase orders via the Interenchères and Drouot.com websites. In this case, you should consult the registration terms directly on the website concerned.
– finally, you can also bid live, by registering on interencheres-live or drouot-live.com depending on the website chosen for the auction.

Auction fees

For court-ordered auctions, the auction prices are increased by additional costs of 11.96% ex VAT i.e. 14.28 inclusive of VAT.
For voluntary auctions, the costs are set on a case-by-case basis and vary from one auction to another. You should consult the information shown in the general information section for the auction.

Paying the bills

The bills of sale should be settled on the spot immediately after the auction, with payment covering all prices and costs.
In cash: up to €1,000 per bill of sale by French citizens and persons acting on behalf of a company.
Up to €15,000 for foreign citizens upon presentation of their identity papers and on condition that they are acting as private individuals.
By credit card:VISA and MASTERCARD, on-site or remotely via the online payment link on our website.
By bank transfer.

Removing or collecting your purchased items

Purchased items may only be removed after payment in full has been received.
The dates on which the lots may be removed from the site will be announced in the general terms of sale for each auction.
The auctioneers do not handle shipment themselves but they can possibly propose putting you in touch with hauliers for certain sales.

THE STEPS

  1. Tell us about your plans

Whether this includes:

– voluntary liquidation,
– business closure,
– restructuring your range of machines,
– balance sheet revaluation.
Whether this concerns:
– industrial machinery,
– stock,
– intangible assets, trademarks, patents, licences,
– wine.

WE CAN HELP

You can contact us by email.
Tell us about your plans and preferences, and provide us with your contact details.
Our auctioneers will call you back as soon as possible.

  1. We can perform an on-site inventory

We visit your premises, to be able to produce a detailed description of the goods you are looking to sell and to provide you with an estimate.
According to the goods concerned, we can sometimes provide a ballpark price after photos have been sent to us.

  1. We organise the auction

According to the nature of the goods and whether they are left on their current site or moved to the auction site.
We take photos and produce a sales catalogue, including the following for each lot:
– a detailed description,
– one or several photos,
– an estimate.
This catalogue is published online on our website and also on Interenchères, and, if the nature of the goods justifies this, on the Drouot website.
We also advertise in the usual media for public auctions (Le Moniteur des ventes, Interenchères) and in specialised publications (Journal du Textile, etc.).
The auction will be preceded by one or several viewing days.
The auction is held either in person or on the web, via the Interenchères.com website.

  1. What costs will you need to pay?

The inventories we produce are provided free of charge by our auctioneers if they then result in the sale of the estimated goods.
If the inventory is not being performed as part of a sale, we will propose a quotation for fees.
You will be required to pay costs of 15% ex VAT on the sales price of the goods sold.
You will receive payment 30 days after the sale on condition that the bidders have paid for the lots in question.
